Case Results

Consular Processing Case – We represented a client who had been convicted in federal court for illegally entering the United States. We navigated Immigration Court successfully, securing approval of I-130 and a Provisional Waiver for Unlawful Presence, and returning our client to the United States as a Lawful Permanent Resident.


Consular Processing Case—Represented client who was convicted of a misdemeanor motor vehicle larceny with successfully navigating Immigration Court, provisional waiver, and return to the United States. The case involved a crime of moral turpitude.


Wrongful Detention by ICE-Represented a Lawful Permanent Resident who was wrongfully detained for one year in an Alabama detention center, pursue and obtain a settlement of $40,000. Claim alleged various constitutional violations of law.


Immigration Fraud Waiver—Represented client who arrived in the United States, in part due to a misrepresentation of material fact on his application, who was subsequently married a United States citizen, and who ultimately adjusted stated and received a waiver in Immigration Court.


Cancellation of Removal—Represented client in Immigration Court who had pending charges of alleged child abuse with a case of Cancellation of Removal of a Lawful Permanent Resident while detained at an immigration facility. Subsequently, represented the same client on the child abuse charge, which was dismissed.


Cancellation of Removal—Represented client who lived in the United States for more than 10 years with criminal record who demonstrated to Court that client’s children would suffer extreme hardship if they were removed to the Respondent’s country of origin.


Consular Processing — A client from Jamaica required a waiver due to fraud and crime of moral turpitude; the client successfully applied for and received the necessary waiver to receive Lawful Permanent Residency status and was able to travel to the United States to be reunited with family.


Asylum—Represented a client from the Middle East who became an apostate, denounced Islam, and became a Christian, he would have faced severe persecution and perhaps death if he remained in his native country. He applied for and received a grant of Affirmative Asylum.


Federal Criminal Trial—Represented client in a case where he was charged with possession of a firearm by an illegal alien, which after a two-day jury trial resulted in a hung jury or mistrial.


Federal Criminal Target—Represented a client who was the target of a federal drug conspiracy investigation, worked with client and investigator and negotiated with U.S. Attorney’s Office which resulted in my client not being charged with a crime. Client did not cooperate with Government.


Civil Lawsuit—Represented decedent’s family in an automobile accident which resulted in death, fought for and obtained a settlement in excess of $200,000 for the family.
